Work-out classes that will challenge … and transform you

Lagree Fitness™ is a unique approach to exercising, designed to stimulate the development of strength, endurance, trunk stability, flexibility and balance by almost every exercise. That makes the training sessions remarkably efficient and entertaining! In only a 45-minute workout, you may expect a high energy consumption rate (500-800 kcal), elongated muscles and improved muscle tone and strength.

Low risk - high intensity

Lagree Fitness™ exercise classes are conducted on the innovative Pilates reformer called M3S™ Megaformer. It enables quick and easy transitions from exercise to exercise, thus providing a high-intensity workout and effective calorie and fat burning. Also, M3S™ Megaformer enables a controlled and slow execution of movements in all planes, by which any abrupt and explosive motions are avoided, the motions that can inflict injury to muscles, tendons and joints.

There are over 400 exercises and their variations, so you will never have the exact  same workout twice, you will never lose your motivation, and your transformation will never stagnate. Your muscles are expected to continuously solve ever new challenges, the results of which are optimal achievements in the shortest time period.

Science in the background of Lagree Fitness™

Lagree Fitness™ exercise method is taught and executed on the exclusive and patented technology developed in the United States of America. Its aim is to stimulate, safely and effectively, all aspects of human physical fitness. Physical fitness cannot be regarded merely through the capability of running long distances or lifting heavy weights. It incorporates the following components: (1) cardio-respiratory endurance, (2) muscular strength and endurance, (3) body composition, (4) balance and stability of joints and the spine, (5) mobility of joints and flexibility of muscles. Most exercise methods and programmes stimulate only a limited number of physical fitness components. Conversely, the Lagree Fitness™ method stimulates all the elements of physical fitness not in one training session, but in almost every exercise.

Cardio-respiratory endurance

Cardiorespiratory endurance is the ability of the body’s circulatory and respiratory systems (heart and lungs) to supply fuel to the tissues and cells during sustained physical activity. It is strongly affected by cardiac output and the efficiency of slow-twitch muscle fibres. Lagree Fitness™ preferentially activates slow-twitch muscle fibres of large and small muscle groups, and maintains heart rate at efficient and safe training zone during the whole workout.

Muscular strength

Muscular strength is the ability of the muscle to exert force during an activity. The key to making your muscles stronger is working them against resistance: weights, gravity, and/or springs. Lagree Fitness™ allows your body to train in counter-resistance to improve muscular strength.

Muscular endurance

Muscular endurance is the ability of the muscle to continue to perform without fatigue. This is the ability for your body to keep working during continuous movement. Ironically, in order to perform without fatigue, you need to train the muscles to fatigue. Lagree Fitness™ trains the muscles to a threshold of intensity that will stimulate improvement.

Body composition

Body composition refers to the relative amount of muscle, fat, bone, and water that make up the entire body. A person’s total body weight (what you see on the bathroom scale) may not change over time, but the bathroom scale does not assess how much of that body weight is fat and how much is “lean mass” Lagree Fitness™ promotes fat loss and lean muscle growth to improve the total body composition.

Mobility and flexibility

Flexibility is the range of motion around a joint. Good flexibility in the joints can improve posture and alignment as well as help prevent injuries through all stages of life. If you want to improve your flexibility, you must perform activities that lengthen the muscles. Lagree Fitness™ works the muscle in its length which improves flexibility.

Core strength and balance

Core Strength is the ability for the body to stabilize during movement. It incorporates the abdominals, pelvis, lower back and diaphragm. Your balance is your ability to maintain your support with minimal sway. The torso is the body’s center of power, so the more strength and stability trained in this area, the better chances you will have in preventing injuries and maintaining good alignment and posture. Lagree Fitness™ focuses heavily on core stabilizing exercises and maintaining good form throughout each and every move.

Changes in the instructor's schedule

The studio reserves the right to change the schedule of its instructors due to unforeseen circumstances without prior notice.

Policy of wearing grip socks and bringing clean towels

The sportsmen are obliged to wear special grip socks and bring a clean towel during each session due to hygienic and safety reasons. You can buy the socks at the Motus Melior center front desk or you can get them in your own arrangement. In case you have forgotten to bring a clean towel, you can rent one at the Motus Melior center front desk.

Class cancellation policy

Considering that the program in the studio is conducted in small groups, it is extremely important to cancel this class no later than 24 hours in advance through an online application, by phone or by sending an email in case of not being able to come to the class you have previously reserved. If you cancel the reserved class after that deadline (“late cancellation”) or you do not show up for your reserved class, you shall be charged thereof in full.

Policy of late arrival to class

Please arrive to the studio before the class starts. In case of being more than 15 minutes late to your reserved class, you shall not be able to participate in this class due to your own personal safety and in order to avoid disturbing the dynamics of the workout process. Thank you for your understanding.

Change of class time

You can change the time of your previously reserved class no later than 24 hours before the start of the previously reserved class.

Waiting list

If the class you wish to attend is fully booked, you can ask to be put on a waiting list and you shall be given this spot if one of our attendants cancels that class.

Coming to class for the first time

If you are coming to a Lagree Fitness class for the first time, please arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled beginning of the class so that our professional team can introduce you to the basics of working out on the megaformer.
